Macmillan fundraising’s a piece of cake for Eden Boys’ School pupils!
Our pupils and staff raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer last week as we supported the charity’s annual World’s Largest Coffee Morning event.
By inviting in families and the local community to share cakes and a cuppa, we raised a staggering £1,025 for the cancer charity which is close to many people’s hearts.
Pupils, their parents and our staff provided some amazing speciality cakes to be sold, which were all devoured very quickly.
Assistant Principal Muhammed Matadar said, “I’m proud of all our pupils for going the extra mile to support our Macmillan Cancer coffee morning, and grateful to their families too. They contributed cakes they had baked, bought treats and made donations with such kindness and generosity. What’s more, our event brought together our school community for a great cause. It really was wonderful for all our pupils to be a part of.”
