29th September – MacMillan Coffee Morning
Macmillan can make even more of a difference for people facing cancer.
Who knew a bit of cake could do so much good?
The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
Attending our Coffee Morning will be the perfect chance to help our boys to raise money for a great
cause. The event is being led by our newly formed Parent Shuraa group together with boys from our
charity group.
The details for our coffee morning are as follows:
Date: Friday 29th September 2017
Time: 11am – 1pm
Venue: Eden Boys’ School, Main Dining Room
To help this important event in the school calendar, we ask all parents to donate and attend. Donate by
sending in as many items of cakes, fairy cakes, cup cakes, biscuits, cookies, jam tarts etc. These items
can be sent in on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th September via your son. All donations of food will be
gratefully accepted.
Alongside this, we ask that you come and support on the day by coming and spending some time
chatting to us over coffee – whilst spending as much money on cakes etc as you can!
Every penny we raise will go to this great cause.
Could I remind all parents attending this event that parking is not available on site, therefore please
ensure safe, off-site parking nearby.
